Business Connector for Xero

When you send an invoice from your dashboard, a matching invoice is created in your Xero organisation, and its paid status comes back.

A person sorts orange receipts and invoices next to a pink calculator.
An illustration. Xero shows the exact wording when you press Connect, and nothing is shared until you choose Allow.

What it does for you

  1. No double entry

Sent invoices are copied to Xero with their number, dates, line items, discount, tax and notes.

  2. Paid status comes back

When an invoice is paid in Xero, your dashboard shows it.

  3. Cancel means void

Cancel an invoice after it was copied and it is voided in Xero too. Drafts are never sent.

What it can see, and what it never will.

Each part is requested only when you switch that feature on.

With your permission

  • Your organisation's name
  • Sales accounts and tax rates
  • Contacts and invoices, looked up to avoid duplicates

Never

  • Bank accounts or bank feeds
  • Bills, payroll or reports
  • Deleting anything in your books
  • Selling or sharing your accounts

Xero data is not sent to any artificial-intelligence provider.

Switch Xero off whenever you like. The stored access is deleted the moment you do.

The exact permissions

For reviewers and the curious: the permissions requested, the data each one reaches, and why.

Open Connections and press Disconnect next to Xero. The stored access is deleted immediately.
